


Each year, the San Francisco Chronicle Restaurant Critic, Michael Bauer, announces the eagerly anticipated Top 100 Restaurant list. 2012's list sees Chef's embracing their location with many referring to their cuisine as "Northern Californian" where after all so many of today's trends in food and beverage originate. 2012 marks the anniversary of the opening of the great Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco's most famous landmark. Festivities kick off in late May with the opening of the newly designed Bridge Plaza and Pavilion with interactive displays, information, gift shop and café. The America's Cup is one of the largest sporting events in the world behind the Olympics and the World Cup. This prestigious event will be held in San Francisco Bay in the summer of 2013 and is the first time that the race can be viewed by spectators from land. This may be a once in a lifetime event for Sailing fans- come and see for yourself!

San Francisco's beloved "art, science and human perception" museum is moving to their new and much larger location on San Francisco's waterfront in 2013. The new location at Piers 15 & 17 will include a 9 acre science campus with a large promenade with dramatic water views and a dock for oceanographic vessels.
